Ryoko Akama: Reconstruction of Alvin Lucier’s 1977 piece – Music On A Long Thin Wire

Ryoko Akama (in close collaboration with Mark Bokowiec and Scott Mclaughlin) has recently undertaken a reconstruction project in which she reproduced Alvin Lucier’s Music On A Long Thin Wire. Documentation (video, recording,  and photographic) of this project can be found Here.

A short blog post about the project can be found Here.

Another demonstration of this project (alongside other works by Lucier) will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Leeds. More information can be found Here and Here.
