Pia Palme – Boundary Layer Listening. Site-specific Soundwalk.

Documentation of a recent soundwalk organized by Pia Palme:

Towards St. Paul, the atrium is defined/opened up by a huge glass wall, which transports sound from both inside and outside the building.

Listen by touching one ear to the surface of the glass completely.

Instructions can be written on surface with whiteboard pen and wiped off after use, on main glass wall or supporting panels.

A second person could take the same position on the other side of the supporting glass panels.

Created by Pia Palme, 2013 for a soundwalk in the Huddersfield CA-building atrium.
